{"id":2653,"date":"2026-07-06T12:32:44","date_gmt":"2026-07-06T17:32:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/canonasociados.com\/en\/?p=2653"},"modified":"2026-10-13T17:16:10","modified_gmt":"2026-10-13T22:16:10","slug":"sistel-mandatory-teleworker-registration-colombia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/canonasociados.com\/en\/sistel-mandatory-teleworker-registration-colombia\/","title":{"rendered":"SISTEL: Mandatory Teleworker Registration Now Enabled"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Ministry of Labour has launched the Teleworker Registration System (SISTEL), a platform designed to centralise information on persons employed under the teleworking modality.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Although the reporting obligation has existed since 2022, the technological tool to comply with it was only enabled in May 2026.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Consequently, companies with employees engaged under teleworking arrangements should verify compliance with this obligation and the consistency of the information to be reported to the Ministry of Labour.<\/p>\n<h2>\u00a0<\/h2>\n<h3><b>Who must register?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The obligation applies to companies that have employees engaged under the teleworking modality.<\/p>\n<p>It is irrelevant whether most of the workforce works on site. If the company has one or more teleworkers, it must register only those persons working under that modality.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Before registering, it is advisable to verify the consistency of the information to be submitted.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0<\/h3>\n<h3><b>Information reported to the ARL<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The information entered in SISTEL should match the data previously reported to the Occupational Risk Insurer (ARL), in order to avoid inconsistencies in the event of verification.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0<\/h3>\n<h3><b>Information on persons with disabilities<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The platform requests information on teleworkers\u2019 certified disabilities.
